I have taken this opportunity to express my 69 years of observation regarding humanity democracy and governments. It appears to me that in the words of Carl Sagan we have been bamboozled, not by one party but by both and the truth globally is a very difficult place to find ourselves. 

 Over the years there have been different types of philosophical ways to lead the masses and it appears that all of them are uniquely connected without having the courage to admit that. Our democracy is slowly showing the strains of itself, we are slowly working away from the very reason why our constitution was designed the way it was designed and by what it was designed for.

It seems uniquely apparent that people who profess to know which direction our society should be headed, have not done enough research into the history of societies. There are so many parallels presently to the demise of past imperialist Governments. 

Human beings seem to struggle with being catapulted into a position of authority with out having it become a statement of their particular power. All one needs to do is to examine the past presidents of the United States during our lifetimes to understand that premise. And recognize The frailty of our democracy and where it may be headed.
